How did you get into the tiling industry?

Learning the trade in college and doing 3 years of a full-time apprenticeship.

What do you like most about your job?

Challenges, versatility, various locations, success and industry recognition.

Why did you become a member of The Tile Association?

TTA provides us more credibility and technical support.

What region do you work in?

Nationwide.

What types of installations do you provide?

Large format bathrooms and fireplace cladding using extra large format slabs.

What changes have you experienced since becoming a Master Tile Fixer?

More enquiries from high-end builders and suppliers.

What tiling project are you most proud of?

What is the most valuable lesson you have learnt on the job?

There is nothing which you can’t learn and learning is never ending.

What is the best advice you have been told or would like to share for anyone entering the industry?

Be honest to everyone, stay humble and provide support to the people who need it.

What do you like to do outside of work?

My work is my hobby. In my spare time I like to do researching and networking with people in the industry.
