BEST HERITAGE PROJECT 2024 WINNER!
Congratulations to Opus Tile Restoration for winning the Best Heritage Project 2024 TTA Award for their project Skelton Hall, York!
Skelton Hall is a Grade II listed building located in York, developed in 1867 from Skelton Lodge, initially built in 1814. As the property went through changes historically, so did the large geometric and encaustic hallway tiled floor. The floor was damaged in various sections but more importantly, around 10m² (approximately 5000 pieces) were completely missing. Fortunately, Opus Tile Restoration and the client were of the same opinion to reinstate the floor back to its original state.
